How to connect to a VM using AAD user

Hi !

I try to access a VM created from the Azure Virtual Desktop with a AAD user;

My user is assigned to the Session Host and has the permission to login

But I have every time an error while connecting to the VM.

However, I can connect to the VM with the admin wihout any issues.

Any clue what is happening here ?

Looks like, you need assign 'Azure Virtual Desktop Desktop application group' also as explained below:

I had a look and I could see that the users are already assigned in the DAG

See below, I am trying to connect with the user that has the assigned VM.

Another place to check the configuration is rdp properties.

Select Settings > RDP Properties in Host pool blade

Go to Advanced tab add additional options in RDP properties as below:

targetisaadjoined:i:1;

Re-deploy Sessions Hosts in the Pool and see if it helps !
