The best database in Azure to manage real time data operations.

Hello Experts,

I have to manage some real time stock updates between more than 2 online portals and we are thinking to go with Azure Services. And also think to store data in Azure Database services. Hence, we are looking for the database that must be very speedy in Read and Write operations so that we will give a real time synchronization between portals.

    If you need a relational model Azure SQL Database is a fully managed relational database service with built-in intelligence.

    But I think the best case would be Cosmos DB with "Strong" consistency. Azure Cosmos DB is a globally distributed, multi-model database service designed for high availability and low latency. It offers guaranteed single-digit millisecond response times for both read and write operations at scale. Cosmos DB supports multiple data models, including document, key-value, graph, and columnar. It also provides automatic indexing and the ability to replicate data across Azure regions, making it suitable for real-time synchronization across portals.

    You can use CosmosDB. The scenario you are describing is very much of real-time time series scenario same as occur on IoT created data. Here you will find how to build a real-time processing architecture in Azure.
