Exactly as it says on the tin!

When clicking on any link in Outlook, Edge tries to sign in but advises "The user is not granted permission to sign in" > However when the GPO Setting/Registry setting to sign browser in is enabled, it makes no difference.

Edge is the latest build, all windows updates installed, but we can't find a solution. This is on a Citrix Desktop but that should make no difference.

Help please, this is driving me nuts!

    Hi @Spencer Guest ,

This problem is often caused by the incorrect value of RestrictSigninToPattern. Please check its value or consider removing this policy for a test. If the pattern matches your account, normally no problem will occur.

If a user tries to sign in to the browser with an account whose username doesn't match this pattern, they are blocked and will get the appropriate error message. Note that pattern matches are case sensitive.
