when i try to reset password for users in my domain i getting this error"we're sorry, we're not able to reset this user's password right now. this may be due to temporary issues on our end. please wait a few minutes and try again"

I understand you are unable to reset password 'due temporary issues'.
The error you are seeing is related to temporary issues on Microsoft's end, and you should try again after a few minutes. After some time, have you tried it again? Is your issue resolved or are you still encountering the same issue?
If you encountered the same issue, could you please provide more details about the issue so that I will understand it better? For example, where did you try to reset the password for users - in Entra or on-premises?

Yes, the problem is as you already described and it is still not resolved yet and it occurs when trying to change the password in Entra
In my environment, I tried to reset the password for users in my domain and was able to do so. As shown in the image below, the status in audit logs is 'successful'. Could you please share the correlation ID for the activity, i.e. the user's password reset request?
Could you please check the roles you have? The table below shows the roles that have the ability to reset passwords.
