Since some days we get the following messages on our Azure VMs:
We are not using Azure Stack hypervisor.
slmgr /ato shows:
slmgr /dlv:
psping kms.core.windows.net:1688
psping azkms.core.windows.net:1688
is successfully

But activation status is:
Troubleshooting is showing:
Reboot already done.
Eventlog shows:

License acquisition failure details.

Acquisition of genuine ticket failed (hr=0x80072EFD) for template Id {99d92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f}
Desktop-Image was "Windows is not activated", but after reboot of the server it is now back to normal, anyway, the status is not activated.
What could help here?

There is a temporary fix, final will be delivered by next Windows Updates:

Are you still seeing the windows VM deactivated error? I see you have performed below steps to validate and confirmed that when you run slmgr /dlv cmd from the admin cmd prompt, output will shows as licensed like below screen shot:
And run slmgr /ato cmd from the admin cmd prompt, output will shows as product activated successfully like below screen shot:
I am adding some steps through the private comments which you can run to check if the VM can talk to the IMDS server to attest that VM is on Azure.

We have added the additional intermediate certificate and then it was successfull. Do you know when there will be the official final fix by Windows Updates for that?
