Hello Damon Villar,
Welcome to microsoft Q&A, thankyou for posting your query here.
When you subscribe for a new Azure pay-as-you-go subscription, some default quotas are set. You may need to request for additional quota for certain resources, like specific VM sizes.
By default Azure implements quota limits on new subscriptions to prevent overconsumption of resources.
To Check Current Quotas
In Azure portal.
Go to the "Subscriptions" blade and select your subscription.
In the left-hand menu, click on "Usage + quotas" under the "Settings" section.
Here you can see the current quotas and usage for various resources
To request a quota increase
In Azure portal.
Select Help + support.
Select New support request.
For Issue type, select Quota.
For Quota type, select Virtual Machines.
Fill the required columns, like the Region (South Central US) and VM size (B2ms,B2s_v2,Am8_v2) for which you want to request a quota increase.
Submit the request.
The request will be reviewed by Microsoft team and answer you with increase in quota or if the request not approved they will provide you with why denied and what can be done to resolve the issue.
please refer the followings to understand limits and quotas.
