Hii,
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-arc/servers/overview
The article said :
Azure Arc for servers (preview) allows you to manage your Windows and Linux machines hosted outside of Azure on your corporate network or other cloud provider, similarly to how you manage native Azure virtual machines. When a hybrid machine is connected to Azure, it becomes a connected machine and is treated as a resource in Azure.

So my imagine is : every servers connected to azure arc, will be manage through portal azure. which is will be available restart, start & stop button, like azure vm panel.

i'm try to connect my AliCloud VM to portal azure with azure arc, deploy successful its connected, but there is not show any button.
i just can add IAM role, Policy & Logs.
so is there another way to restart vm? or azure arc does not support restart / start / stop button

Azure Arc machine is an agent based service, consider the machine could be a physical machine. You can run a script to stop the machine, but no channel to start it. To avoid confusion, we didn't add them to the portal.

Azure Arc is just agent which could helps to collect logs, metrics etc and which could also helps to show those machine information to our azure portal. By using logic app we can able to collect data from those machine.

But we do not operate any physical action into that server unless until we do some scripting on that machine
