Azure Batch linked service not showing in Azure Data Factory pipeline

Question

I'm following this guide: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/tutorial-run-python-batch-azure-data-factory

In step 6 under Set up an Azure Data Factory pipeline it shows that one can find the Batch Account under the Azure Batch linked service dropdown. However, this is doesn't show when I try to do it.

What I've tried:

1. Recreate Storage Account and Batch Account following the guide
2. Create "new" azure batch linked service (here it fails to connect, and doesn't show in my portal overview under batch accounts)
3. Chatted with a supporter who find it to be a backend issue prompting me to write this post.
