Can I enable Microsoft Remote Desktop assistant in Windows 10 Home Single Languag

Hi,

I downloaded and installed Microsoft Remote Desktop assistant but it’s not supported in Windows 10 Home Single Language.

Please let me know, can I enable it?

If yes, how?

Hi,
Home edition is not supported. If you want to access computers that have one of these Windows versions installed, you are recommneded to upgrade to a Windows version that supports RDP.

(Kindly note: Starting with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (1709), you could allow remote access to PC by looking for Remote Desktop under System in the Settings app instead of using the Remote Desktop Assistant.)

Hi @NndnG ,

Unfortunately the Microsoft Remote Desktop assistant only supports Windows client operating systems with the following editions:

• Professional
• Ultimate
• Enterprise

In your case you would have to upgrade your Windows 10 Home to the Professional edition, for more information see:
