Deny GPO Applying on IP Range

Hi Team,

Really need your help, i want to deny a proxy setting gpo from applying on a group of servers on a specific IP range. I can a per user, per computer name deny but not by IP

How can this be achieved?

    Hi,

    you cannot do this in security filtering.

    What you can do however is to use a WMI filter to check for IPv4 configuration on a target computers. Never tried this myself but there are many threads how to do this. But the logic is not denying GPO on it but allowing GPO on specific IP ranges.

    See if that works.

    Your so right! never thought of it this way, this will work.

    Ill just specify the ranges of IP's to apply the policy on and the rest will deny.
