I set up the mail forwarding account, have no IT person or employees, yet I get the message that I do not have permission to access admin area. Need to access this to correct a mail forwarding issue. Please advise!

Hi @Laura Nelson , what's your Exchange server version? Generally we can access the EAC/ECP(Exchange admin center) or EMS creating transport rule to set the mail forwarding or redirect.

If you cannot login EAC with administrator permission or you cannot contact with who deployed the server, you may consider creating inbox rule in Outlook or OWA to meet your requirements.
