Azure IoTHub Python SDK: ConnectionFailedError while sending messages to Azure IoTHub using Python SDK

While sending messages to Azure IoTHub from Python SDK, frequently the connection is lost with different error messages viz: 'Failed to receive on socket', 'transport.connect raised error'
Attached the screenshot.

And some times, IoTHub is receiving multiple(duplicate) messages for the same request.

Versions:
azure-iot-device==2.2.0
azure-iot-hub==2.2.2

Attached the sample code.

Please help.

Can you run the sample in this quickststart and report if you have the same issues?

Please use latest versions:

azure-iot-device==2.3.0

azure-iot-hub==2.2.3

Hello,

The sample in the quick start runs fine.

We suspect that the issue is with the message size.
We are sending a 100kb message for every 40 seconds and IoThub frequently throws that exception.

Behaviour is same with the latest versions(2.3.0) as well.

Please note that it was working fine till 2 weeks ago despite we were sending 240kb message.

I have synced with iot sdk python devs and requested that you file a new bug under the repo.

Hello @Praveen Palakodeti ,

As mentioned by Elena in the related thread: This looks like an issue with the IoT Hub service rather than the SDK.

Can you please contact us through an Azure Support Ticket so we can have a 1:1 call with you and check logs and PII data not possible to share publicly?

As per the Azure Support Ticket closure reason:

"We are not able to reproduce this now... this might be due to bad network conditions that occur randomly."
