Hi Guys,

We have an issue like Disabled user (left the organization) still appears in Teams. We have disabled the user in On-Prem AD and removed O365 License. But user still appears online.

So the workaround i followed this MS Comm blogs [1]: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/disabled-teams-account-can-still-log-in/m-p/1285134
After performing the above step i've checked the audit logs to make sure if the user really logged in to Teams but i dont see any activity logged in to Teams.

my question is when will the user gets permanently deleted or no access to any of the applications ? what is the time frame ? can we check the audit logs if the user really signed in to Teams ? it is really confusing and frustrating..

Please advise

    When the user is disabled in Azure AD (or simply Blocked from sign-in), they will continue to appear in M365 applications. When the account is deleted is when it will disappear from applications.

    @SR VSP ,

    How long do you disable this user account?

    It will take up some time, maybe more than 24 hours, to take effect after you delete an account.

    It is sure that you can check user’s sign-in event by audit log if his account is signed into Teams.
