Hi:
For the past week, my team is not longer able to create skype for business meeting. The icon which is missing from Outlook calendar is not longer able to be restored via the AddIn, even though we use administrator mode to remove and add back the Addin.
running the Oct patch. Even the online lync interface give us error in creating.
We now have to rely on using old meeting link to start meeting.

Do you mean you cannot find Skype Meeting add-in option in outlook client?
If you do not see the Skype Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office 2016 entry in the COM Add-Ins dialog box in outlook, the add-in may not be correctly configured in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive of the registry. To resolve this issue, examine the applicable registry subkey for the Skype Meeting Add-in for your installation of Microsoft Office 2016. For more details about steps, you can refer to:

We have already tried steps in the link provided, still the SKype for Business option is no visible.
We even try the Web Scheduler, it state that the meeting we create cannot be save.

Still the mesage "UCMAPI is connected to Outlook, but one or more folders are not updating" appeared in the Skype for Business Configuration Information. We have resort to using past meeting link to enable us to still conduct our business meeting.

In my experience, if the Lync user and the outlook profile don’t match, or outlook is closed, it will cause this error message. We recommend you try to delete Skype for Business SIP file as following: Delete the Skype for Business sign in information. Click the status and select Sign out – Delete my sign in information> Clear all the Skype for Business cache files. Open the Run bar in your computer and run %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\, select Office – 15.0 or 16.0 – Lync, then delete all the sip files and all the files in Tracing folder, don’t delete the tracing folder itself.

We have done that previously (and I redone it) to no avail.
Our IT has even recreate one of the staff outlook profile and still the problem exist.

What is you current environment? On-premise or Online?
If your environment is on-premise, we recommend you check if there is any error event id log in the Event Viewer.
If your environment is online, did you set any coexistence mode in your environment? Based on my knowledge,
if you set other mode such as "SfBWithTeamsCollabAndMeetings" or "TeamsOnly". Skype for Business can not schedule the meeting normally.
