I've read that in Outlook there is a feature which you can click and then share an email to Microsoft teams. I've seen it here: https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/4/20942036/microsoft-teams-outlook-integration-new-features-ignite-files-tasks-yammer. However in Outlook it doesn't show up for me, in Calendar the 'New Teams Meeting' shows up but this feature doesn't. Is there an add in that I need to add? If so how do I do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @Oliver ,

Would you like to know more about this option of "Share to Teams" in Outlook like below?

If so, based on my research, it's a new feature in Outlook, I try to search the official document to introduce this feature, but haven't found the specific information about it.

Then, I have tried to use many accounts to test for it. According to my test, there would be the "share to teams" button when I use my Microsoft 365 account(with E5 license) in Outlook, but when I use another Micorosoft 365 account (with E3 license) in the same Outlook client, the option wouldn't appear, and the same result could also be reproduced in Web Mail, so I think this feature may be related to the accounts themselves instead of Outlook client. I try to check the differences between these accounts, and haven't found any differences except for the license, so I speculate the license may be an influencing factor. To further confirm it, please provide me with more information about your issues:

    • What's the license of your account?
    • Could you use this feature in your Web Mail(log into the web mail>double-click the message>click"...">share to teams )?

Is there an add in that I need to add? If so how do I do this.

As I know, the "Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office" may affect some features of Teams in Outlook, but according to my test, I could still "share to teams" even though disable this add-ins or run my Outlook in safe mode. So I'm afraid the feature is not related to the add-ins.

I'm still researching about your issues, and hope you would provide me with more information about your issues for analysis.
