Windows 10 Update 2004 DNS Server Not Available Problem

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 320s. It updated automatically to Windows 10 Version 2004 on 28/9/2020. Since then the laptop will not connnect to the Internet and the Troubleshooter generates the message 'Your DNS Server might be unavailable'.

I have connnected the laptop to several different WiFi hubs and successfully accessed the Internet from other devices using the same hubs so I am fairly sure the problem is with the laptop itself. I have tried resetting hubs and flushing the dns on the laptop but neither make any difference. I would be grateful for any advice on what the problem might be any how top resolve it.

    It takes me 17 hops to get there. ueadns04vip.uea.ac.uk [139.222.130.1]

    Try an ipconfig /flushdns

    You could also try using google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8,8,4,4)
