When I try to upgrade to New Outlook for Mac, I get a message saying "The following email accounts aren't supported and won't be available in the new Outlook."
Then it lists three email addresses that I use every day with Outlook now.

It gives me the option to click on "Switch to the New Outlook" but I'm afraid to lose access to those email addresses via Outlook.

What can I do?

    Hi @John M. Bouza MA, CFRE ,

Thanks for your reply. Please kindly understand that in order to protect your private information, I modified your your reply.

I tested about the Outlook.com email account transfer issue you mentioned, and my Outlook.com can transfer successfully without any issues. Personally, I think that your issue might still be related to the imperfect features of the new version for now. If you really want to use Outlook.com account in the new version of Outlook, you could try to manually add it via Tools > Accounts > "+". Besides, if you have other issues to report or any suggestions to feedback, please follow the steps mentioned in "Reporting issues and providing feedback" of this article, Microsoft may notice it and add it in the later version.

By the way, would you mind kindly marking helpful replies as answers so that other users who might have a similar question can benefit from your thread? Thanks for your understanding and support.

    Hi @John M. Bouza MA, CFRE ,
I did some search and tests about the New Outlook for Mac you mentioned. What's the type of your three not-supported email account? As I know, the New Outlook for Mac can only support Office 365, Outlook.com, Gmail and iCloud email account. And not support Exchange, IMAP/POP Yahoo Mail for now.

If this is your case, I'm afraid that your issue is normal, and it is suggested for you to continue to use the old version of Outlook for Mac for now. Please wait for the update of new Outlook for Mac to support more account types before switching to the new Outlook. You could get the update information from this official article: The new Outlook for Mac.

    Hope this can be useful.

I'm a Mac user, and Outlook has been down for me all day. I've been using it for 20 years, and never seen it be down for so long.

I wonder what the story is, and if it's related to your problem ?

I've not seen notices about the "new Outlook" yet though. It's a thing ?

Thank you very much. I will do as you advise and wait a bit longer until the features are added to the new Outlook.

It is bad business to force customers with an exchange server to switch to 365 in this way.
