This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
My PC has suddenly stopped allowing me to browse to my NAS box via Explorer, when I try it gives the message "X:\ is not accessible. Element not found"
I can access it OK via a command prompt and my wife can access from Explorer on her PC
NAS box is a Netgear Readynas Duo mark 1
PC is running 64bit Windows 10 version 20H2 last updated 01 October 2020, I was able to access the NAS after that update for at least a week.
I have run "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" followed by "sfc /scannow", neither reported anything.
Nothing is logged in the event log.
I have booted into Safe Mode with networking to check if there is a conflict with some other software but the problem persists.
I've now run out of ideas on how to fix this short of a full reinstall, which I am understandably rather loath to do

Thanks @Dave Patrick for the reply, unfortunately it did not help. I've had a non standard password as it is and my version of the ReadyNAS does not have IP6 capabilities.
I did the following:-
net use * /delete (There are no entries in the list.)
net use t: \nasname\data /user:admin nasadminpassword (The command completed successfully)
afterward I was able to access the mapped drive via the command prompt whereas I was not before but was unable to via explorer, I was still getting "Element not found".
Remove/Uninstall Lenovo apps from your computer
Execute network reset
Restart Explorer.exe
Disable fast startup and \restart computer, access to your NAS again.

I don't have any Lenovo applications on my PC
In case anyone else has the same problem, I think I have fixed it - at least it is working for now.
I had been running the commands below in a command prompt opened as "Run as administrator", today I tried again but under my own context rather than admin and it seemed to have worked.
net use * /delete
net use t: \nasname\data /user:admin nasadminpassword
