VS crashes when opening Debug > Advanced menu of SQL Database project

Hi,

I use VS 2019 Professional Edition (16.7) for a SQL Database Project.

When I right click on the database project > Properties > Debug > click on the "Advanced..." button Visual Studio simply crashes.

I have tried it several times and each time it is the same result. Another user on another project (but on the same VM) has the exact same problem.

What can be done to avoid the crash and be able to access the advance settings for debug ?

Hi @Thomas Kwakman , I have tried it in 16.7.8, and the advanced menu could be opened. And could you provide %APPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\<Version>\ActivityLog.xml here? And if possible, please try to repair your visual studio or update your visual studio to 16.7.8. Sincerely.

Thank you for your answer. I have updated to the latest version and the problem still persists.

Could you please tell me which part of the ActivityLog I should share with you?
I don't want to share sensitive information in the public space.
