I just installed VS2019 and Xamarin for multiplatform development. Created a "Blank" project. When I launch Android_Accelerated_x86_Nougat ... which displays a "To start Android, enter your password". How do I get an Android password?
Maybe your windows password? But I don’t use emulators so I am not sure
Thanks for your suggestion. But that doesn't work. Unfortunately, this is classic example of how Microsoft gets people to waste time. They update software, entice you with "new and powerful" but make it miserably difficult for people to get started. Sorry for griping and once again thank you for being helpful. Cheers!

Have you tried doing a factory reset on the emulator?
Hi Don, I am so new to this, is I don't know what that means. If you can give me a tip on how to do it would be great. If not, I will have to noodle around the vast ecosystem to see how to do this.
In Visual Studio open the Android Device Manager
In the Device Manager, right-click on the device to open the context menu, then select Factory Reset.
Don, you're THE MAN. That did it, though it did give me an ominous warning "This cannot be undone".

Did the factory reset, but the issue still exist VS2019 16.9.4

same issue on VS 2022 17.7.0 Preview 5.0 and unfortunately most POS are using Android Oreo
