Big Sur eating my word documents

Since the Big Sur update, in my Word documents as I type paragraphs above on the page disappear or the line above disappears, then when I hover the mouse over the blank space, they can reappear, only to disappear again when I start to type again - also happens in emails, but seems less likely there, really a pain in Word. Can I reverse BIg Sur which is the source of the problem. 100% of my work is in Word.

    Hi @hb ,
    I suggest you try to check if your Word application also need to update, try to install the latest update.
    After updating, if this problem is still existed I suggest you try to uninstall Office for Mac completely and re-install Office:
