.Net Core 3.1.10 Hosting Bundle - Is a restart required to complete installation?

Hi,

I'm looking at installing the .Net Core 3.1.10 hosting bundle on to some Win16 backend Service Fabric nodes. The installation initiates a system restart at the end of the installation, however, there is an option viz. /norestart to perform the installation without performing a restart.

I'm just wondering if the restart is a requirement to complete the installation? I'd prefer not to have to take stop/start the SF nodes if I can avoid it.

Just to note, that the runtime does appear in the list of available runtimes even when the machine hasn't been restarted, but, that's not to say the installation has been completed.

Best,

Stephen
