Upgrade server 2019 essentials to 2019 standard

Question

Is it possible to update windows server 2019 essentials to server 2019 standard? If so, do you have to buy a standard license or is there some type of upgrade license?

You can convert Windows Server 2019 Essentials (retail) to Windows Server 2019 Standard (retail), you will need to purchase a Windows Server 2019 Standard license.

Hi, I need upgrade Windows Server 2019 Essential to Standard and I find your recipe. When I was try, a problem has occurred with command dism.

dism /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:---- /AcceptEula

The set-edition option is unknown.
