Hi,

we are trying peer cache for some of the branch to reduce the wan bandwidth. created to collection (Peer cache source + peer cache clients) , we have created the client policy and applied to Peer cache source collection.

Peer cache source machine got downloaded updates and installed. but peer cache clients not downloading from peer cache source, it's downloading directly from dp.

Can you suggest what to check.

Regards,
Mani

    @smanif1

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    1.Could we know if we enable the option of "Client Cache Settings option",at the same time,we also set the option "full OS to share content" to Yes?

    2.Have we check our boundary settings? Since peer caching clients finds friends within a boundary group only, we need to have a somewhat decent structure of boundary groups. Clients can only download content from peer cache sources in their current boundary group. A client would always use a local DP if there was one at the same subnet, but in recent versions we could configure that behavior on the boundary group.

    we don't have DP in the same subnet. whether prefer DP over Peer need to enable or not ?

    Hi Fiona,

    Still we are not able to identify the exact problem. one thing what we observed the source machine most of the time more than 80% cpu utilization. but not able to see in the rejection report. we are trying to identify another source machine for testing. we will update on this.
