Windows server 2012 slowness

Hi folks,

we have IBM X3650 Machine and installed windows server 2012 (Version 6.2 build 9200) and have attached SAN Storage as hard drive for storage of file and from this server we do daily backup to our NAS Storage from third party tool. there were file of 1 KB of total 150 MB so I delete the file it took nearly 4 days to delete that file due to its small size after that we try delete some more file but we cancel the process in between but now the problem is that the third party tool which used to backup the file in less than 30 minutes now it is also taking more than 3 days to backup the file for around 300 MB.

Please can anyone suggest what is the issue with the server and how can I resolve it without restarting the server ?

    Hi,

    1. Please open the task manager, check if the Disk I/O and system resource is heavy:

    2. Please check if there's any third-party application running on the system, if yes, please uninstall the third-party applicaiton.
    3. Since we are using SAN storage, it's recommended to involve the storage vendor to check if there's anything wrong with the storage.
