MS Teams company message logging

Hi,

since i am not able to find an answere, can you please refer me any pages where i can read more about logging messages from MS Teams?
Our internal policy in company needs message logging (all messages - private/public/team chat) and i am unable to find how to set it up.
This logging will be accessible only to specific users who will be compliant

    Hi Tomas,

    Teams one-on-one and group chats are journaled through to the respective users' mailboxes, and all standard channel messages are journaled through to the group mailbox representing the team. Therefore, "eDiscovery" in the Security & Compliance Center would be your answer, probably along with "Legal Hold" depending on the expectations and needs of litigation in your company.

    Hi Tomas!
    As far as I know, Teams chats that are private between 2 people or 4 people will be stored in those users’ mailboxes. Chat logs will be there depending on your Retention Policy/Litigation Hold. It works same way as Skype for Business chats. Chats part of Team/Channel also stored in Exchange. For more details, you can refer to:
