I need to reset my sandbox config after deletion

I need to reset / restore my sandbox as i had accidentally deleted some resources.

As far as I have found there are only 2 ways, both not practical:

Wait till your sandbox lifespan is over. A new one will then be created automatically on most pages of where the sandbox is used.

Get into another learning module which uses a sandbox and it might see it as a different sandbox, therefor cleanup the old one.

I can only sincerely ask Microsoft to improve this sandbox implementation, since with subscription disappearing at random moments in my lifespan this is not a pleasant way to learn.

A hacky solution:

Whenever I need a new sandbox because the current one is corrupted or there is not enough time left in it for me to finish, I go to any other module with an "Exercise" and that prompts me to create a new sandbox. Then I come back to my module and I am prompted again to create a new sandbox.

This does waste one of the 10 sandboxes available in any 24 hour period, but I wasn't going to do 40 hours of sandboxing in 24 hours anyway.

Assuming the question is about the Microsoft Learn Sandbox environment, I'm afraid there isn't a reset option for the sandbox as such.

The sandbox environment created for a module is available for four consecutive hours. So, you may go back to the beginning of the module to start over.

This didn't work for me. I tried going back to page 1 of the module, and navigating forward to sandbox initiating page, but it's stuck on the existing non-working sandbox. Also incognito, another computer, neither worked (perhaps as expected as it's account-linked, not browser).

In my situation, when creating the resource group, it was missing resources (maybe they were taking long and stuck in queue, I'll never know...). Is the only option to wait it out? It'd be useful to be able to "reset" or have the ability to use up another sandbox (up to the quota) in cases where I need to restart.

@Michelle Wong Yes, sandboxes are temporary and your sandbox access is associated via your Microsoft account.

The sandbox environment created for a module is available for four consecutive hours usually to ensure that you can finish the module. Each module gives you a new sandbox so you're always starting in a clean environment. The system detects when you move from one module to the next, and it prompts you to activate a new sandbox.

So, I believe waiting for it to time out is the only option available today, but your feedback is very valid. Please submit your suggestions here to help us improve your experience.

Four hours? Seriously?? I have started a module and went to bed to finish it in the morning to find that I cannot connect back to the sandbox! So do I have to start over? Surely this cannot be right!

True, I wish there was some way as it wastes a lot of time if you accidentally delete a resource or resource group.
