Hello,
I am new to azure. Currently, I am learning azure from Microsoft learn using the link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/azure-database-fundamentals/azure-mysql-database.
Does anyone know the main difference between "Azure Database for MySQL" and "Azure SQL Database"? Both seem very similar. If anyone knows the answer kindly help.

Please correct me if I am wrong. What I understood, this link explained the difference between "Azure SQL Database" and just "MySQL", not "Azure Database for MySQL". I needed to understand the difference between two Azure services.

More or less the service behaves same as MySQL DB but with limitations as all the features in the full fledged version may not be available in the Azure Cloud version.
As you will be aware Azure SQL has a base in SQL Server and Azure DB for MySQL has a base in MySQL. but the cloud version choice will depend on 1) The structure and behavior you need from the DB and second on your knowledge of the underlying base that you may be using from sometime.
