Hello,
Do you know when is the release date of the SQL Server 2020 (Also named SQL2020 and SQL Server 16.0 (?)
I realize this has been asked here: when-is-the-release-date-for-sql-server-2020-aka-sql2020
and the direction was that, roughly, MS releases a new SQL Server version every 1-2 years, but MS has not announced yet and that is the definitive evidence needed.
Has that changed? Can anyone speak to that? Thanks.

There is no information about a pending SQL Server 2020/16 version.

Also the next version certainly won't be "SQL Server 2020".
I would not expect a SQL Server 2021 either. Major versions are generally known/talked about at least 1+ year in advance of release.
