AutoComplete: Remove entries from "Other Suggestions" - remove incorrect entries

Question

We have a full hybrid org and having retired one of our previously accepted domains on-prem, I am trying to remove certain entries within AutoComplete - specifically for a certain domain appearing in the "Other Suggestions" category in Outlook.

In a nutshell, we acquired another company last year and now they are finally using our branding. The problem is that all users from that company have entries in the "Other Suggestions" category in Outlook for the non-routable olf domain etc.

I've seen posts like this [https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/delete-autocompletes-suggestions/], but I could not remove the entry and I really need a way to do this on a mass scale (for all our users).

Is the source of "Other Suggestions" mailbox folder or a type of online index in o365?
and more importantly, how can I remove entries from the "Other Suggestions" cache/index etc.

Based on my research, unfortunately its not possible to remove/turn off the entries in the "Other Suggestions".

Workarounds,

1. to disable Autocache
2. Add to contacts and rename

The "Other Suggestions" is a build-in function for Exchange online mailbox, it cannot be disabled so far.

As you said, this workaround is user-based, you need to tell all users to make this configuration on their Outlook client. You can also vote on that UserVocie, if many users have this demand, this disable option may be available in a future version.

If you don't want to use this function now, you may need to use Exchange on-premises to replace Exchange online mailbox.

Thank you both.

I don't want to disable the whole feature necessarily, but prefer to be able to remove entries especially in circumstances like this when the cache has been polluted with addresses which are no longer valid.
