Word not working properly since new computer MacBook Pro 10.15.7
e.g. I can only use this typeface (see screenshot)!

Also, in PRINT LAYOUT I get lines between my word lines. Why?

I just want a place where I can write--the rest of this is BS

    Please upload the correct screenshot, as the previous one seems to be wrong.
    Besides, I want to check whether the fonts can work properly in other non-Office apps.

    If yes, you may check if all the Ｗord documents have this problem.

    • If so, please open Finder, press Command + Shift + G > enter ~/Library and then click Go, move the following folders and files to Desktop, then restart your Macbook and check if the issue is solved. (If not, please restore them.)
      Under ~/Library/Contains: Folder “com.microsoft.word”.
      Under ~/Library/Preferences: File “com.microsoft.word.plist”.
    • If you have installed any third-party add-ins, please go to Apple menu> System Preferences> Extensions> All category to disable all third-party extensions.

    For the issue about lines between Word lines in "PRINT LAYOUT", I suggest you share us the screenshot to show us more detailed information.
