Office 365 tenent move

Hello

I have a client who needs to get a new office 365 tenant because MS Teams data still resides in the USA. Client needs the data to be in Canada.

Now if we spin up a new tenant I have a couple of questions.

1) Can we use the same primary domain name by detaching and reattaching to the new domain?
2) what will happen to their resources in Azure. For example virtual machines that were part of the on premise AD Domain?

      Yes, you may use the same Domain after removing it from 1st tenant and verify it under different tenant.

    2) what will happen to their resources in Azure. For example virtual machines that were part of the on premise AD Domain?
