Can the Cosmos Db Emulator generate rsa-2048 or higher certificates?

Hi! Cosmos Db Emulator is able to generate a certificate when a network connection is required. This certificate is only rsa-1024. For many programs this is inadequate. Even Azure Functions Core Tools will reject an SSL connection based on an rsa-1024 certificate (if it is running on Linux connecting to an emulator running on Windows). I'm wondering if the emulator will be able to export rsa-2048 or higher or if this can at least be configurable. Thank you!
