Did you specify any install switches for it to install silently? What was the exact installation command? Have you reviewed the logs here C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\IntuneManagementExtension\Logs ?
[Intune] Installing DYMO Label (Win32 app) fails
So I created a 'DLS8Setup.8.7.3.intunewin'-file out of 'DLS8Setup.8.7.3.exe' which can be found here with IntuneWinAppUtil.exe
The 'Detection.xml' in the .intunewin-package also correctly has '<SetupFile>DLS8Setup.8.7.3.exe</SetupFile>' in it.
When I make this app available in the Company Portal and want to install with the install command 'DLS8Setup.8.7.3.exe' or with any other parameter which can be found here I keep getting the same error over and over again:
I tried every combination of parameters. Manually installing on the clients isn't a problem.
I also have other Win32 apps (also .exe) published in the Company Portal which installs just fine. What could be going on here?

2021-01-22T09:16:34.193+00:00 Found out the following (at least it works now).
When trying to install this Win32 app you get an error message pretty quickly, but in the background it started installing al the necessary depandencies and after that the .MSI app itself. After a while everything installs just fine and the app can be started. IME is checking for outcome too fast. When I choose to try again installing the app in the Company Portal it succeeds in a few seconds:
