Hello Experts,

If I have multiple Azure VMWare Solution Private Cloud set up in a subscription how will these private cloud connect to each other?

So for instance if there is a VM A in Private Cloud 1 and another VM B in Private Cloud 2, how do they communicate with each other?

anonymous user I had discussion internally and below is the response I got from our internal team as below:

You will need to setup ExR Global Reach between both AVS to Azure ExpressRoute connections.
Late December a routing update was deployed that will allow routing between AVS SDDC’s when global reach is configured between both SDDC ExR connections.

Please not that (at least for now) it is important to always create/update/delete the global reach relationship from on side. Select one SDDC as the primary one for administering the GR connection.

Also we currently support the mentioned method for private clouds that reside in different regions.

If the PC’s are in the same region, that connectivity will be supported in March.

    Hope it helps!!!

anonymous user Apologies for the delay in response and all the inconvenience caused because of the issue.

You can provide connectivity to these two by making use of Services such as Azure ExpressRoute and VPN connections deliver the connectivity. These services require specific network address ranges and firewall ports for enabling the services.

You can refer to this for more information.

    Hi Samlaw
If you VPC are in the same region you should be able to connect it using "AVS Interconnect":

    [connect-multiple-private-clouds-same-region]

If your VPC are in different regions you have to use ExpressRoute Global Reach in the same way you connect your private cloud to your on-premises circuit.
    Cheers
    Alessio
