Audio Issues

After nearly ten years of use, my speakers finally gave out on me. Two days ago, I purchased speakers (Creative Pebble) and a microphone (Blue Snowball iCE) with the hopes that i'd be able to do some light gaming with friends. I currently run windows 7 and I was having issues getting my microphone to detect my voice. In attempting to fix this, I uninstalled "HD Audio Device" (or something along those lines) and now I am unable to get my speakers to work. They also do not appear within the disabled devices list. How do I fix this?

I have updated my Realtek audio drivers as well.

Edit: I also have Dell Inspiron 560. I also tried running a troubleshoot diagnostic and it said my device was disabled. My device does not appear on the disabled devices list.

    Hello,

As the troubleshooter said that your device is disabled, you need to check in Device Manager and try to enable the correct device.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Thank you for coming Microsoft Q&A.

We could try the following steps to check if it is located in disconnected devices.

    1.Open Control panel.
2.Click Hardware and Sound and then Click on Sounds.
3.Under Playback tab, right click on the empty area and tick "show disconnected devices"

By the way, as Windows 7 is out of support since Jan.2020, we recommend to upgrade to Windows 10 to have a good using experience.

    Bests,

Seems to be a driver issue.
    Which driver have you installed?
I am not sure if the manufacturer support site has compatible audio driver or not.
