In the MS documentation it states that SAP HANA can be used as a Collector, however when I try to copy data from an Oracle base to SAP HANA it does not appear as a collector creation option. Can anyone help?

Can you please share the Microsoft documentation you are following ? Also, how are you trying to copy data from Oracle to SAP HANA. Are you using Azure Data Factory ?
I found that the only way to get SAP HANA to be a collector is to use the ODBC connector and then connect via ODBC. Remembering that at Runtime the driver must be installed
