I have 1VM's and that is linux VM I see that the replication health within the disaster recovery tab within the VM itself shows as Critical .

When i started to check the events i saw that it was throwing 153017 event where it said that the machine was not able to upload the replication logs to the cachestorage account for the disk and possible reasons would be : The cachestorageaccount would have been deleted or the container used to storage replication logs would have been deleted . A firewall might be blocking access to this storage account from VM .

I also found that the agent version asked for an upgrade and the agent status was Critical . I basically went ahead and upgraded the agent version and now they are health .

Could you please check and let us know the status to fix the issue.

Hi @Rajesh S - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A community forum!
Sorry for the painful experience you must have had with these errors.

It is clearly a network communication error. A firewall or other network configuration might be blocking network access from the virtual machine to the cache storage account.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. Ensure the VM has access to Azure storage cache account
    2. If you have an on-premises NVA. Create the service endpoints as per the document - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/azure-to-azure-about-networking#network-virtual-appliance-configuration
    3. If there is proxy configured within the VM or for the VM , disable it.
