How do you stop BGINFO from double or triple displaying the desktop on each screen in use

BGInfo initially displays fine but after redeploying a new bgi file, BGInfo displays multiple times.
If you have two screens in use, it displays twice on each screen
If you have three screens in use, it can display three times on each screen

The bginfo.bmp file in Windows temp is fine.

After trying to remove bgi files, registry entries, and bginfo.bmp in temp, nothing seems to be able to reset BGInfo to work without having to recreate the Windows User Profile.

    I'm experiencing a similar issue.
    Any update on this?

    Figured it out.

    Summary
You have to "blank-out" the config file to stop the overlap.
    See below:

    1. Launch the configuration file created.
    2. Save the content (if needed) - copy and paste into word
    3. Delete all listed entries in the config file
    4. Click APPLY (to make sure you see nothing on the screen
    5. Save as - to overwrite config file ()
    6. Open config file again and paste entries from word
    7. Click APPLY
    8. Save and overwrite config file

    That's it
