i installed new windows .dll files manually to the appropriate windows folders to fix Windows Updater and on Reboot the Disk Volumes switched such that Volume C: Became Volume D: and Volume D: became Volume C:.On Noticing the error, i decided to run system recovery which made everything worst. Now the Command Prompt has a Volume X: which when i execute Diskpart, the volume(X:) has a 495GB labeled Disk 0: and the switched up Volumes C: and D: as Partitions of Volumes X:.

When i boot Windows 8.1 (pro) i get the Local Domain /Microsoft account login which i never got to set up.You are my last hope Guys.

How do you get around to fixing this??

Sounds badly broken, possibly beyond worth spending much time on. Something here might help.
