0xc004c003 windows server 2008 r2

I'm download official windows server 2008 r2 iso and trying to activate windows server 2008 r2 180 days license. but i'm getting "The Product key you typed has been blocked from use by Microsoft" with error code 0xc004c003. how to fix this issue?

Evaluating any version of Windows Server 2008 R2 software does not require entering a product key, however will require activation within 10 days.
There's no need to enter in a product key for the 2008 R2 evaluation. The product key is embedded. Connect to internet to complete activation.

i'm trying to activate within few minutes after fresh install. I'm getting that error. i'm connect to internet

Do not enter in any product key. The product key is embedded. Connect to internet to complete activation.

i didn't enter any product key. just go to activation and click on activate.

its also possible they ended the 2008 evaluation. There are newer server operating system evaluations to be had here on TechNet

now i'm trying on windows server 2012. compared to 2008 r2 its very slow

it may be a limitation of the hardware used. You can check here and with manufacturer about support for a given operating system.

Did you download the evaluation version?

Also, the error code occurs because the incorrect permissions are set on the Tokens.dat file or this file is corrupted.

yes i download the that version. i have old vps that has activated 180 days trial. today i rearm it and try to activate it again. i'm getting same error on it.

i tried that but it didn't work

This may also be related to the end of support for server2008.
