Hi, a supplier has mentioned that we can only create new Azure instances in a US region, is this correct as we need to set these up in UK or EU regions? Many thanks

    Hi,

It depends on what instances you are referring to, you can have a look which products are available by region over here:

Unless your supplier has any restrictions, you should be able to create Azure instances outside of US.

    Best regards,
    Leon

Note that there have been some restrictions on creating resources of late due to additional demand from Covid-19 related activities. This has particularly impacted European regions which have suffered from reduced capacity. This may be what your vendor was referring to. As of now capacity seems to have returned to a more normal state and so hopefully this is less of an issue.
