Hi, I'm a teacher and we have issues with students sending intimidation notes or inapropriate content (dickpics) to ramdom people using the chat (to other students and to staffs).

How can we limit their access to all contacts in the organisation to only their teachers?

AND is there a way to get an activity log to see who is messing around during a conference?

Thanks

    Hello @Rene Francois ,

To achieve the restrictions, you should have 'Information Barriers' policies installed and configured in the organization. This can be worked through PowerShell scripts only as of now. The whole strategy can be setup through Security and Compliance PowerShell Center
Following Microsoft article will help out to give an overview and indication on where to start with.

On the other question on auditing, you need to search the audit logs under security and compliance portal as explain in the below Microsoft document

    Thanks,
    Manu

    Hi,
Yes you can setup Information Barriers

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/information-barriers-in-teams

to limit the communication between students.
It’s a feature under license, so please verify your license and if it allow you and your students to use it.

What do you mean for “ activity log to see who is messing around during a conference?“

    Best. Luca

    Hi ReneFrancois-7801,

As a supplement, you can use the Content Search eDiscovery tool in the compliance center in Office 365 or Microsoft 365 to search for in-place items such as email, documents, and instant messaging conversations in your organization.

For more details, you can refer to this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/content-search?view=o365-worldwide.
