Have been searching for article or documents which related to allowing/blocking Microsoft Teams using ADFS Claim Rules but haven't found any. Is Microsoft Teams supported by ADFS Claim Rules? Thank you.

Teams is basically a combination of services, so if you want to limit access, claims rules aren't a good match. You can control access via licensing though, or via Conditional access rules in Azure AD.

    Hi JamesEscober-4796,

What do you mean allowing or blocking Microsoft Teams?

If you want to limit some type of Teams service, you can configure in Microsoft Teams admin center. Or assign or unassign some related licenses, such as Exchange Online license, SharePoint Online License.

I did not find related official document about ADFS Claim Rules for Microsoft Teams. Also, we are unfamiliar with this scope. Hope professional people can help.

    Hi

I need to do the exact same thing for our Teams access. On site ADFS and 365 federation with Azure AD Connect. Need to lock extranet access down to Teams only.

    Any thoughts?
