how to uninstall KB5001078

I tried many option on how to uninstall this security update but not to succeed. I also tried wusa using powershell and cmd administrator but it say "security update for microsoft windows is required by your computer and cannot be uninstalled. Please help as our server application doesnt runs well we need to remove this as soon as possible. hoping for complete solution to this issue.

    Hi @Wilbert Aquino ,

    As per the KB article page of the KB5001078 update, this servicing stack update cannot be uninstalled.

    KB5001078 is a Servicing stack update for Windows 10 version 1607
    It replaces the previously released update KB4576750 and cannot be uninstalled from the device.

    Note that ANY windows update CAN be uninstalled. Thats easy.
    First do | wmic qfe list | in powershell
    Then find number (sometimes AND name) of update
    Open Notepad.exe as admin
    Open C:\Windows\servicing\Packages - find here your update (name or/and kb number) YOU need .mum file
    (it should look like C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\Package_for_KB5001078~randomnubmers~.mum || or can contain name without kb number)
    Find and replace | permanence="permanent" | TO -> | permanence="removable" | in all files with your update name/numbers
    Do | wusa /uninstall /kb:5001078 | in powershell.
    Done.
    Remember, there is NO irreversible things.
