What are the hardware recommendations for NPS in large organizations?

Looks like the documentation for NPS is missing sizing recommendations of how much CPU/RAM would be needed on average for an amount of x users or y logons per seccond.

I'm specifically looking for recommendations or a rule of thump for large organizations (a couple of 10k users, >5k logons/h).

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Q&A platform.

How to configure hardware for NPS depends on lot of factors such as the number of users and your actual production environment, it's hard for us to recommend from forum level.

Here is a similar thread discussed before for your reference:

Meanwhile, I would suggest you contact Microsoft Customer Support and Services where you would get a more satisfying explanation and solution to this issue. You may find phone number for your region accordingly from the following link:

    Best Regards,

    Hey Sunny,

Thanks for getting back. Unfortunately, the information on the link provided is from 2011 and most likely not up to date anymore. A high-level example sizing would definitely help on a forum level, if possible but not necessarily related to the numbers I provided in my question.

We've also reached out to MSFT customer support and expect that to be fruitful. However, it would save your support and us customers some time and effort having examples documented online and available to the public.
