Via Disk manager or CMD I have a disk 12 that is healthy, basic and online. I can change to offline/online and Basic/Dynamic and nothing else. Is this disk incapable anything else? ... Simple Volume???

Please share a disk management screenshot with us when you right-click the name of Disk 12.
Also click Rescan Disks in Action menu.
Here are screenshots of all available context. Rescanning disks or restarting Disk Manager doesn't change context. This disk is exposed at system boot.
