We have a third-party app that we have been able to deploy as a Managed Google Play private app. The app installs successfully on the device and it can be used normally. The user is able to accept all the permission requests however when the user tries to select images from the photo gallery it comes up as greyed out/read-only.
Just to confirm that the target devices are fully managed corporate devices. I haven't applied any app protection for this app.
I have already tried to deploy the same APK as a LoB app directly from Intune but it doesn't even install or show up anywhere in the Google Play store on the device. In Intune console it showed up as required app but it's not doing anything. I assigned user as well as device groups but no success.
I logged a ticket with Microsoft but they're clueless so far. If anyone has any experience or suggestions it will be really appreciated.
