Hi,

We're using AD B2C for a client app.

  1. Is it possible to have a clickable link in the verification Email instead of a code?
  2. Verification email sometimes takes several hours to be received, what's the problem with that? Anything I can do here?

Thanks
Sven

@SvenGlöckner As of now there is no sample available that replaces code with a link to validate email in standard signup/signin user flow. You can post an idea regarding this at Azure Feedback portal, which is monitored by the product team and they can add it in their future roadmap.

    Hi @AmanpreetSingh-MSFT

    thanks for your help.

I followed the Sign-in with a magic link. However that's not exactly what I wanted.
I'm fine with the original sign-up and sign-in process. The sign-up process requires users to verify their email address with the help of a numeric code. What I would like to have is not a numeric code in an email but instead a link where the user can click to finalise their sign-up process through AD B2C.

Hi @SvenGlöckner , Please find my comments inline.

    • Is it possible to have a clickable link in the verification Email instead of a code?

You can use Sign-in with a magic link for this purpose. This is in private preview.

    • Verification email sometimes takes several hours to be received, what's the problem with that? Anything I can do here?

This is a backend issue, nothing you can do to fix it. I would suggest you to take a note of email address with time of signup and open a support ticket next time you experience this issue.

    Hi @AmanpreetSingh-MSFT

    Thanks again for your help.
Where do I have to open a support ticket for the issue with the delayed email?
