hello,

the goal is to delegate a to set of users the task that they can change the userWorkstations attribute.
with Keywords and a searchsope i created a limited Portal View for these "AMS" users.

they see here the result of a specific searchsope to that they see only this type of users for which they must
be abe to set the userWorkstation attribute.

when they click on a user this is what they get

the advanced view with the extended attributes is not visible to them

how can i make this visible for them ? and make sure that they can change this attribute

kr,
Maarten

    Hi,

You'll need to create a "Grant permission" MPR to give the appropriate users access to edit (and view) the attributes in question.
I'd also recommend customizing the Edit RCDC to make in easier for the users to edit the attributes (non admins cannot see Advanced mode).

    Dear Leo,

i didn't mention it, but i had created a grant permission MPR for this
    74356-image.png

but then i think, that the answer is in the second part of your response
"non admins cannot see Advanced mode"
this is something that i was not aware of ...
and in that case i shall have to edit the RCDC. i do hope that it is not to hard, because this will be my first time

    thanks

    Maarten
